Allahumma Akfini Bihalalika In Arabic

اللهم اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عن حَرَامِكَ ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

Transliteration

Allahummakfini bihalalika an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika ‘amman siwaka.

Allahummakfini Bihalalika Meaning

Allahumma akfini bihalalika means O Allah! Grant me enough of what You make lawful so that I may dispense with what You make unlawful, and enable me by Your Grace to dispense with all but You.

Remember that Allah will help you to pay off your debt if you keep on reciting this Dua with a full yaqeen (trust in Allah).

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The one who takes people’s wealth intending to pay it back, Allaah will pay it back for him, and the one who takes it intending to destroy it, Allaah will destroy him.”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2387).
Allahummakfini Bihalalika

Seek help with that by working and striving hard to pay off the debt, and by putting your trust in Allaah, and praying to Him to make it easy for you to pay off your debt.

In the Sunnah there are a number of du’aa’s which specifically seek the help of Allaah in praying off debts and one of them is the above one.

Hadith On Allahummakfini Bihalalika

Ali reported: A slave who had made a contract with his master to pay for his freedom, came to me and said:

“I am unable to fulfill my obligation, so help me.” He said to him: “Shall I not teach you a supplication which the Messenger of Allah SAW taught me? It will surely prove so effective that if you have a debt as large as a huge mountain, Allah will surely pay it for you. Say:

Allahumm-akfini bihalalika ‘an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika ‘amman siwaka (O Allah! Grant me enough of what You make lawful so that I may dispense with what You make unlawful, and enable me by Your Grace to dispense with all but You).”At-Tirmidhi

O Allah! Grant me enough of what You make lawful means make me satisfied with what is lawful, free from what is unlawful.

I may dispense with what You make unlawful, and enable me by Your Grace to dispense with all but You, meaning: Make Your bounty and the grace, sustenance, and goodness You have bestowed upon me, enrich me from anyone but You, so that I am not in need of anyone but You, and I do not depend on anyone but You.

Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him taught his companions that this beautiful supplications will be a reason to pay off your debt.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, taught it to Ali Radiyallahu Anhu, and Ali taught the man who wanted help to free his neck.

Seek help with that by working and striving hard to pay off your debt. The sky does not rain gold or silver, but man makes the means, and Allah will open.a way for him what he does not think of.

Allah will open for him the doors of sustenance and relief that he does not expect, because Allah is generous, merciful, kind to his servants.

Surely, if your intentions is pure and clean, then expect the help of Allah sooner than later.

But whoever takes people’s money to waste it, and underestimates them, and their rights, such a person may not be helped.
