Allahumma Inni As Aluka Al Afiyah Benefits
According to Abdullah ibn Omar, Every morning and evening, the Prophet (SallaAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam) would recite this supplication.
When we seek Allah’s pardon, we are asking Him to forgive our sins and erase them from our record of deeds.

In this supplication, we seek Allah’s forgiveness and ask for His blessing.
As the Prophet (SallaAllahu alayhi wasallam) said,
Ask Allah for forgiveness and wellbeing, for no one is given anything after certainty that is better than wellbeing.
When we ask for well-being, we are asking Allah to save us from all difficulties and afflictions, to strengthen our hearts and bodies so that we can meet Him without harm or sin.
Al-Tibi said, “Wellbeing is that Allah protects you from all sickness and hardships.
We ask Allah for happiness in this life and the next, so this includes all states we will be in.
Happiness in this life includes protection from physical and spiritual ailments, as well as sins.
Protection from the punishment of the grave, terrors of the Day of Judgment, and salvation from Hellfire are all aspects of happiness in the next world.
To try to cement our request, we repeat it, emphasising that we want it specifically for our faith, our lives, our family, and our wealth.
In our faith, well-being entails being spared from committing sins or holding wrong beliefs, as well as ensuring that our tawheed of Allah is perfect.
Wellbeing in our lives implies being rescued from disasters and faults that cause us to be careless about remembering Allah or performing acts of worship.
Wellbeing in our family means that we are all rescued from challenges and evil, including problems with one another.
Our wealth’s well-being is to keep it from being lost or stolen, and to keep it from being used in a way that displeases Allah.
In addition to asking Allah for well-being, we also ask Him to conceal our flaws, which include whatever we don’t want others to know about us.
We also pray Him to save us from anguish so that all of our anxieties and worries will vanish and we can live a serene life.
In the concluding section of the hadith, we pray to Allah to protect us from all angles.
This includes the four angles from which the shaytan pledged to attack us, as Allah mentions in the Qur’an, {And then I shall come to them from in front of them, from behind them, from their right, and from their left}.
In addition to the four angles from which shaytan has pledged to attack us, we ask Allah to protect us from the two remaining angles, which are from above and beneath us.
The request to be saved from beneath us is a stronger request, because those who are attacked from beneath are usually those punished by Allah, such as the Pharoah and Qarun, so we are asking Allah to protect us from doing something that deserves to be punished by Him in this life.
Always ask Allah for forgiveness and well-being because it is one of the best gifts you can get.
The whole supplication is contained within the first few words because it is all contained within asking Allah for pardon and wellbeing; however, we repeat this request and detail our requirements further so that we show insistence in our request, which Allah loves.
We also repeat and expand on this request so that we genuinely consider what we want and, as a result, ponder it from the bottom of our hearts.
The shaytan tries to attack you from all sides, so keep an eye out for his schemes and ask Allah to protect you from him.
Preserving these words of remembrance is following the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah.
Every human being is subject to pests in religion, worldly affairs, family, and money.
A person is commanded to ask Allah for well-being in religion, as well as he is commanded to ask her in this world.
Well-being in the family takes precedence over well-being in money.
The Prophet, may peace be upon him is in need of Allah’s protection – the Exalted and Majestic.
The supplication should be simplified and expanded (Oh God, protect me from my hands…etc.) because it is possible to bring it out in a nutshell, as if saying: Oh Allah, protect me from every calamity.
Affirmation of the attribute of greatness to Allah.
A person fears that punishment or revenge will come to him from below and below him more than the rest of the six directions.
Permissibility of making a prayer without being obligated.
