بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

1. لا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ.
2. وَلا أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ.
3. أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَانُ أَلَّن نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ.
4. بَلَى قَادِرِينَ عَلَى أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ.
5. بَلْ يُرِيدُ الإِنسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ.
6. يَسْأَلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ.
7. فَإِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُ.
8. وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ.
9. وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ.
10. يَقُولُ الإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ.
11. كَلاَّ لا وَزَرَ.
12. إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُسْتَقَرُّ.
13. يُنَبَّأُ الإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ.
14. بَلِ الإِنسَانُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ.
15. وَلَوْ أَلْقَى مَعَاذِيرَهُ.
16. لا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ.
17. إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ.
18. فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ.
19. ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ.
20. كَلاَّ بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ.
21. وَتَذَرُونَ الآخِرَةَ.
22. وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ.
23. إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ.
24. وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَاسِرَةٌ.
25. تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ.
26. كَلاَّ إِذَا بَلَغَتْ التَّرَاقِيَ.
27. وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍ.
28. وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ.
29. وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ.
30. إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمَسَاقُ.
31. فَلا صَدَّقَ وَلا صَلَّى.
32. وَلَكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى.
33. ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّى.
34. أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى.
35. ثُمَّ أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى.
36. أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَانُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى.
37. أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِّن مَّنِيٍّ يُمْنَى.
38. ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّى.
39. فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنثَى.
40. أَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَن يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَى.

Surah Qiyamah Transliteration

1. Laaa uqsimu bi yawmil qiyaamah.
2. Wa laaa uqsimu bin nafsil lawwaamah.
3. Ayahsabul insaanu al lan najm’a ‘izaamah.
4. Balaa qaadireena ‘alaaa an nusawwiya banaanah.
5. Bal yureedul insaanu liyafjura amaamah.
6. Yas’alu ayyyaana yawmul qiyaamah.
7. Fa izaa bariqal basar.
8. Wa khasafal qamar.
9. Wa jumi’ash shamsu wal qamar.
10. Yaqoolul insaanu yaw ma ‘izin aynal mafarr.
11. Kallaa laa wazar.
12. Ilaa rabbika yawma ‘izinil mustaqarr.
13. Yunabba ‘ul insaanu yawma ‘izim bimaa qaddama wa akhkhar.
14. Balil insaanu ‘alaa nafsihee baseerah.
15. Wa law alqaa ma’aazeerah.
16. Laa tuharrik bihee lisaa naka lita’jala bih.
17. Inna ‘alainaa jam’ahoo wa qur aanah.
18. Fa izaa qaraanaahu fattabi’ qur aanah.
19. Summa inna ‘alainaa bayaanah.
20. Kallaa bal tuhibboonal ‘aajilah.

• 21. Wa tazaroonal Aakhirah.
• 22. Wujoohuny yawma ‘izin naadirah.
• 23. Ilaa rabbihaa naazirah.
• 24. Wa wujoohuny yawma ‘izim baasirah.
• 25. Tazunnu any yuf’ala bihaa faaqirah.
• 26. Kallaaa izaa balaghatit taraaqee.
• 27. Wa qeela man raaq.
• 28. Wa zanna annahul firaaq.
• 29. Waltaffatis saaqu bissaaq.
• 30. Ilaa rabbika yawma’izinil masaaq.
• 31. Falaa saddaqa wa laa sallaa.
• 32. Wa laakin kazzaba wa tawalla.
• 33. Summa zahaba ilaaa ahlihee yatamatta.
• 34. Awlaa laka fa awlaa.
• 35. Summa awlaa laka fa awla.
• 36. Ayahsabul insaanu ai yutraka sudaa.
• 37. Alam yaku nutfatam mim maniyyiny yumnaa.
• 38. Summa kaana ‘alaqatan fakhalaqa fasawwaa.
• 39. Faja’ala minhuz zawjayniz zakara wal unsaa.
• 40. Alaisa zaalika biqaadirin ‘alaaa any yuhyiyal mawtaa.

Surah Qiyamah Translation In English

• 1. Verily I swear by the Day of Resurrection,
• 2. And verily I swear by the self-reproaching soul,
• 3. Does man think that We will not reassemble his bones?
• 4. Indeed We are able to perfectly restore his fingertips.
• 5. But man desires to persist in his evil ways,
• 6. And asks [derisively]: When will this Day of Resurrection be?
• 7. So when the eyes stare fixedly, 8. And the moon loses its light,
• 9. And the sun and moon are brought together,
• 10. on that day man will say: Where shall 1 flee?
• 11. Nay, there is no refuge!
• 12. On that day the final destination will be with your Lord.
• 13. On that day man will be informed of what he sent on ahead and left behind.
• 14. Indeed man is well aware of what he is doing,

• 15. Even though he may offer his excuses [to justify his deeds].
• 16. Do not move your tongue [O Prophet] in haste to repeat and memorise this revelation.
• 17. Verily it is incumbent upon Us to enable you to memorise it and enable you to recite it.
• 18. So when We recite it [through Jibreel], follow its recitation attentively.
• 19. Then it is incumbent upon Us to make its meanings clear.
• 20. Nay, but you [O people] love this present life,
• 21. and are heedless of the hereafter.
• 22. On that day, some faces will be radiant,
• 23. gazing upon their Lord.
• 24. And on that day, some faces will be gloomy,
• 25. knowing that a great calamity is about to befall them.
• 26. Indeed, when [the departing soul] reaches the throat,

• 27. And it is said: Is there any healer [who could save him now]?
• 28. And [the dying person] realises that it is his final departure,
• 29. And agony is heaped on agony;
• 30. on that day, he will be driven unto your Lord.
• 31. He neither believed nor prayed;
• 32. rather he denied and turned away,
• 33. and went swaggering back to his family.
• 34. Woe to you [O man], and again woe!
• 35. Then woe to you, and again woe!
• 36. Does man think that he will be left unchecked?
• 37. Was he not a drop of semen emitted,
• 38. then he became a clinging clot, then Allah formed him and fashioned him, 39. and made from him the two genders, male and female?
• 40. Is not He Who has done that able to bring the dead to life?
