Commentary/ Tafsir Of Surah Taubah Last 2 ayat

Here Allah reminds His believing slaves of how He sent to them the unlettered Prophet who was one of their own; they knew him and were able to learn from him, and they would not refrain from following him.

He was very sincere towards them and strove hard in their best interests.

It grieves him that you sufferp that is, whatever upsets you and makes you suffer upsets him and he is full of concern for you.

He loves good for you, strives his utmost to achieve it for you, and is very keen that you should be guided to faith.

He hates evil for you and strives to turn you away from it.

And towards the believers he is compassionate and merciful, that is, he is extremely kind to them, and is more compassionate towards them than their parents.

Hence his rights take precedence over the rights of all other people.

The Ummah is obliged to believe in him, venerate him, respect him and honour him.

If they believe, then they are indeed fortunate, by the help of Allah.

But if they turn away from faith and acting accordingly, then go on your way and continue with your call, and say:

Allah is sufficient for me and will help me with all that concerns me there is no god but He that is, there is none that is rightfully worshipped except Him in Him I put my trust that is, I rely on Him and depend on Him to bring that which will benefit me and ward off that which will harm me.

And He is Lord of the mighty Throne which is the greatest of all created things.

As He is the Lord of the mighty Throne, which encompasses all of creation, then it is more appropriate to say that He is definitely Lord of all that is less than the Throne.

Surah Taubah Last 2 Ayat
Surah Taubah Last 2 Ayat

Allah says;

Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger from among yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty.

An Hadith mentions, the messenger of Allah said,

I was sent with the easy Hanifiyah (monotheism) way.

Another authentic Hadith mentions,

Verily, this religion is easy, and its Law is all easy, lenient and perfect. It is easy for those whom Allah the Exalted makes it easy.

He is eager for you, that you gain guidance and acquire benefits in this life and the Hereafter.

Imam Ahmad recorded that Abdullah bin Mas`ud said that the Messenger of Allah said,

Verily, every matter that Allah has prohibited, He knows that some among you will breach it; but I am indeed holding you by the waist so that you do not fall in the Fire, just like butterflies and flies.

Allah’s statement next, for the believers (he is) full of pity, kind, and merciful, is similar to His other statement,

And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. Then if they disobey you, say:”I am innocent of what you do.” And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

Surah 26: verses 215-217

Allah the Exalted commanded His Messenger in this honorable Ayah,

But if they turn away, from the glorious, pure, perfect and encompassing Law that you, O Muhammad brought them,
then say:

Allah is sufficient for me, there is no deity worthy of worship except Him, and in Him I put my trust. Similarly, Allah said,

(He alone is) the Lord of the east and the west; there is no God but He. So take Him alone as a guardian. (73:9)

Allah said next,
and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.

He is the King and Creator of all things, and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne (Arsh), which is above all creation; all that is in and between the heavens and earths is under the Throne (Arsh) and subservient to Allah’s power.

His knowledge encompasses all things, and His decision will certainly come to pass over all matters. He is the guardian of all things.
